7 tools for learning energetics and manifestation

I was raised on energetics.

My mom was an early adopter of new age thinking. I’ll never forget how she used to be a monthly subscriber to the original Abraham-Hicks cassette tapes.

Back when Esther Hicks and marketing and everything was far less refined than it is now, my mom would pop these tapes into the car cassette player and elicit lots of eyerolls from my brother and I.

Little did I know that my mom was setting the stage for so many of my neural pathways.

One of my mom’s early business ventures was selling magnets in a network marketing group. I was totally on board with the magnets as a kid. Stomach hurts? Put a magnet on it. Broke an arm? Put a magnet on it. Horse or dog is sore? Use the magnets.

By the time that the 4th grade science fair came around, the project we came up with was growing plants with different types of water. Regular tap water and the magical, magnet water that my mom had installed in our kitchen. Lo and behold the magnet water made happier, larger, greener plants. I attended a highly conservative Christian elementary school, so I am sure you can imagine how fun that was to explain…

I give these examples to say that it is easy for me to forget that most people are not exposed to alternative ways of thinking.

I feel lucky that that was just the home I grew up in. I have only continued to learn and grow in so many areas as a result that at this point it feels like I have a PhD in manifestation, neural reprogramming, alternative therapies, etc.

And all I can say is there is STILL SO MUCH to learn.

So if you’re new to this world, congratulations! I am literally so excited for you! If you stay open to learning and exploring, I guarantee that you will remember why you came here at such a time as this. I guarantee that you can create the life of your dreams.

Just give yourself time. Give yourself the freedom to check it all out and find what resonates with you.

In this blog, I thought I would share just a few tools I have used over the years that have been supportive on my manifestation journey.

But first, what is manifesting?

Don’t worry, it’s not witchcraft or a weird moon chanting ceremony.

To me, manifesting is the art of intentionally co-creating your life with your highest self and a Higher power.

We all are manifesting every single day. It’s not something you have to “try” to do. You’re already doing it. The learning is in becoming intentional about what you are creating. The learning is in taking responsibility for the life you choose to create.

The basis of the law of attraction is that “like attracts like,” but it is a bit more complicated than that.

Manifesting is not about bypassing negative emotions or never having an “off day.” No, love, we are souls having a human experience.

Humans have bad days. There’s nothing wrong with that and there is nothing that is going to create a horrible life because you had a hard day.

The difference is that when you understand the laws of the Universe, you can shift more and more quickly as you use these tools to your advantage and frankly, when you stop taking everything so seriously.

Ok, now for some of my favorites and most approachable tools, especially as you begin your journey:

1) The To Be Magnetic membership. The founder, Lacy Phillips does an unbelievable job of debunking manifestation and making it approachable for all, no matter where you are in the journey. It is very affordable and if you join her membership (The Pathway), you will have access to all of the teachings and workshops. I joined recently and it has totally changed how I think about many things. She also has a library of neural reprogramming tracks, which help to rewire the subconscious mind, which is where many of our blocks lie. Reprogramming the subconscious mind (which runs 95% of your life) is one of the most important things you will ever do. She also has a podcast, called Expanded, which I absolutely love.

2) The Abraham-Hicks podcast (there are 2 that I listen to, which you can find here and here). Since I was a kid, they have upgraded from the cassette tapes! These are quick snips (usually no more than 15 minutes) that are released every single day. I listen to them every morning when I am getting ready and they are just such a vibe. Throughout the day if I have hit a funk, I’ll play one of these and there’s just something about them that helps me “snap out of it” and get back into a higher vibration.

3) The book Ask and it is Given by Esther Hicks. Such a good foundational tool with a whole host of 22 practical processes to help you get back into alignment.

4) Physical health. Eating well, drinking intentionally and daily exercise. Sounds basic, but you guys, your physical body is the channel through which manifestations come. If you are not caring for your body at the highest level, you will automatically not feel like your highest self. Learn how and what to eat to best serve your body, move daily (multiple times per day if possible!) and drink alcohol intentionally. I’m not 100% sober, but I choose when I want to drink and with who. I also use high quality supplements, one of my favorite being LMNT electrolytes

5) Grounding. I have a Bemer mat that I lay on for 20 minutes right when I wake up and 20 minutes in the evening. My family bought this when I was very ill at the recommendation of my doctor, who I will forever be grateful to for my remarkable healing. Anyways, the Bemer mat is scientifically backed by years of research and the premise is that it helps “ground” the body electrically. Through the process, it increases your circulation at the cellular level, thereby improving muscle recovery, immune function, oxygenation levels, detox pathways, healthy aging and more. Honestly, I can’t recommend this enough, not only for physical health but also brain and mental capacity. Essentially, the machine mimics what would happen if you were walking on the earth barefoot all day long (like our ancestors used to do). Obviously, that is not practical anymore, so using this type of technology is a major health benefit and again, feeling your best physically is imperative to manifestation. If you have questions about how to buy a Bemer or promoting health at the level of the cell (y’all know that is one of my favorite conversations!), send me a message.

6) Daily meditation. I’ll be honest, I usually do this while on the Bemer to save time, but wherever you can fit this in, even if just for 2-5 minutes at a time, it is so important to take the time to get quiet and just listen. Your highest self, your angels, guides, ancestors, God (whatever you believe in) will come in with guidance the more that you foster that relationship.

7) Journaling. I journal every day in different ways based on how I am feeling. It is one of my favorite ways to connect with myself and God. If you are new to journaling, here are some ideas for you to play with:

  • Daily gratitude and joy.

  • Write a letter to God and then write the response from God (or your highest self). Trust what comes through! I think you might be surprised.

  • Write yourself a letter from your future self.

  • Write your desires and how they would come about in an ideal, dream scenario.

Here’s the deal, you guys, everything in this Universe is energy. Your body, the screen you are reading this on, your food, your emotions, your clothing. Everything holds an energy and these vibrations are affecting you physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

While we cannot control the energy of others, we can control our own. We can shift out of lower vibrations into the ones more in alignment with our highest selves. We can notice where we are and give to our bodies and souls what we need based on where our energy is.

At the end of the day, manifesting and living the life of your dreams is all about feeling good. Who doesn’t want to feel better?

I think there will be many more blogs like this on the way because it is one of my favorite subjects. If you want to chat more about how to manifest and are looking for support, send me a message on Instagram or use the form on the contact page. I would love to hear from you!

In the meantime, start becoming curious about how you feel, your emotions, your daily thoughts and actions. Take note of what starts to fall into your path when you begin to open your awareness. The Universe often leads us to the right people, the right places, the right books, etc. Don’t be afraid to ask a Higher Power for help and guidance. Part of our human free will is having the power to ask. I can tell you with certainty that the Universe is waiting on the edge of its seat for you to ask for assistance so it can intervene on your behalf.

Remember, the Universe is always conspiring for your highest good. There are no coincidences and you’re always in the right place at the right time.

Xoxo,

Em
